And that is why I want to make sure you understand how utilizing ClickUp can help you conquer all of the 5 stages of project management in your firm.

Take a deep breath… YOU CAN DO THIS!!

The 5 Stages of Project Management

First, let’s begin with the 5 stages of project management in your firm.

  1. Start Working with a New Client
  2. Planning of How You Will Successfully Complete the Work
  3. Executing the Work
  4. Monitoring the Work Being Completed
  5. Ending the Work with a Client

The goal is to never end working with a client, but you and I know things happen. Businesses close, relationships end, and so much more. Therefore, I always say having a plan is better than winging it when it happens. The good reputation you have built will thank you later!

How to Utilize ClickUp to Conquer All 5 Stages of Project Management in Your Firm

1. Start Working with a New Client

When you begin working with a new client, you must start a new workflow. ClickUp is perfect for this, because you can create simple lists or complex workflows. It is all up to you and how many tasks are being implemented for this new job. Thankfully, ClickUp is easy to use to meet all of your needs.

2. Planning of How You Will Successfully Complete the Work

As you are creating checklists or workflows for your clients in ClickUp, you will need to determine what steps need to be taken to complete the work successfully. Some tasks may have a single step, while others require more detailed steps that will take a lot more time.

3. Executing the Work

Once all of your tasks are in order in ClickUp, you must assign those tasks to be completed. If you are still a one-person business, you will be assigning all of those tasks to yourself. But if you have a team, no matter how small, you can choose to assign specific tasks to different people. It is simple to assign tasks, and after you have assigned each one, the person in charge of completing them will be notified. As each task has been completed, the person completing the task can check it off as being finished. That person would then move on to the next task on their list.

4. Monitoring the Work Being Completed

Long gone are the days of sending emails and text messages, as well as making phone calls to see what has been completed and what still needs to be done. When you begin to use ClickUp, you will see just how simple it is to keep updated on what work has been completed each day.

By simply looking at your computer, you will see which members of your team have been checking tasks off quickly and which ones may be struggling. You can then reach out to the ones that may need assistance, to see what the issue is.

This area of ClickUp is also the best way for you to keep up to date with all of the work for each client. That way if you get a phone call or email, you can find the answer quickly.

5. Ending the Work with a Client

ClickUp makes it easy to end working with a client. When you begin to work with a new client, you can make a checklist of tasks, or a workflow, of what needs to be completed if your working relationship ever ends. This ensures that all of those tasks are checked off in a timely manner when that happens. You can quickly and efficiently hand information over to the new firm, or the client. This will make your client happy and they will say good things about you to people they talk to in the future.

If you don’t have a workflow in place, or the one that you have isn’t working, then I recommend implementing ClickUp in your firm immediately! You can utilize so many features in ClickUp to conquer all 5 stages of project management in your firm.
