Workflows… You know you have heard me mention them a million times. And you have probably heard other people say that workflows are a must for your firm.
So, my question to you is… Do you have workflows in place yet??
If you do, GREAT! You should be noticing that your workload is much easier every day.
And if you don’t, then you really must get your sh** together and get those workflows set up pronto!
Today, I am going to share how to build a successful workflow with Dubsado. By the end, you will see how easy it is to set up a workflow with Dubsado. Yes, it will still take some of your precious time to do it! But the results will give you lots of extra time in the future.
How to Build a Successful Workflow with Dubsado
- Know Your Process
Do you already do the same steps over and over again with every client? Congratulations! You already have a process in place. Unfortunately, it’s all in your head and not automatic.
This is the time to write down every single step of your process. Do not leave out anything, even if it seems insignificant to you. Once your process is on paper, decide which parts will be automatic and which ones will be manual.
I will give you a hint to help you out for that one… Make as much of it automatic as possible! You will thank yourself later!
- Create Your Lead Capture Form
Do you currently have little papers with messages and notes from potential clients? Are you starting to lose your mind, because you keep losing those small papers when you need them the most?
This is where the lead capture form comes in! This form contains as much, or as little, information as you want from your clients. As soon as this form is completed, Dubsado will automatically create your workflow in the system.
- Gather Everything You Will Need to Enter into Dubsado
As you are setting up your workflows in Dubsado, you will realize you need to have access to all of your forms, emails, and so much more. I recommend you gather all of these items before you begin to enter them into your workflow. Trust me when I say this will save you so much time!
- Do a Test Run
Once you have all of your workflows set up in Dubsado, you must do a test run. Enter your email as a client and have Dubsado send out everything as it would for a new or existing client.
This test run will allow you to find any problems and mistakes before you go live.
Setting up a workflow in Dubsado is not difficult, but it is time-consuming. Following the steps I shared above will give you excellent results, because you won’t need to backtrack multiple times throughout the process.
